Perfect tool for revenge

Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic world, sibling hunter-gatherers Rif and Ilda discover an ancient library buried underground. As Rif confides in Ilda about his torment from a bully, he finds, for the first time, someone who truly listens. Their bond is tested when they uncover a relic of ancient destruction—a handgun—and must confront the seductive lure of revenge. In the end, the strength of their sibling love overcomes the pull of violence, offering hope in a broken world.

Tartunta is a 5min etude made in Aalto University / ELO Film School Finland. The dialogue was completely written in Samboka – a fictional finno-ugric language by linguist Risto Kupsala.
