Topi Raulo is a filmmaker, audiovisual artist, and Artistic Director of the Mieronsuo Collective. Grown in the vast forests of North Karelia and now based in Helsinki, his work delves into the profound connections between humanity and nature, exploring them through allegorical narratives that twist space-time, challenge the assumptions of modern life, and inspire existential reflection.

Guided by metamodernist ethos, Raulo seeks universal truths by blending timeless ideas with timely perspectives. His work celebrates life’s imperfections, values outsiders’ viewpoints, and embraces the mystical side of reality. In a world often overwhelmed by futility, he is driven to illuminate what is worth preserving —fostering spiritual growth outside religion and defending the right to ponder life’s deepest questions.

Raulo is currently developing his debut feature film. He’s also building a miniature fusion reactor out of ginger bread. Through one of these projects, he continues his mission to inspire reflection and uncover beauty in the unexpected.
